SRV Boston
SRV in Boston’s South End is a restaurant that offers full buyouts for weddings and other events. It serves Italian food and drink with a Venetian flair, focused on small plates and some of the freshest pasta in Boston. The staff here is absolutely incredible. One overlooked benefit of a restaurant venue is that you will have one of the most cohesive hospitality experiences possible, as this staff works together every night, not just occasionally on the weekends!
SRV is one of our favorites and is worth a look… even if it is just for dinner and drinks!

AN SRV WEDDING
Ceremony
If you choose to have your ceremony at SRV, the most common location is on the back patio. Rain options are generally inside the bar area or the private dining room. Speakers for the ceremony are built into the space. Your DJ will connect their microphones to the SRV system. Ceremonies are usually a mix of seated and standing.
Cocktail Hour & Dinner
Cocktail hour is held in the Bar and main Dining Room. With an open floor plan, your guests can mingle or head to their seats and still not miss any of the festivities. As we head to dinner, your guests will be seated in the Main and Private Dining Rooms. Once seated, they will be treated to an extraordinary meal and service from the staff at SRV.
Dancing
One of the unique aspects of an SRV Wedding is the changeover of the private dining room to our dance floor. The staff at SRV claims this takes 10 minutes to do. I’ve never seen it take that long.
We’ll close the sliding barn doors of the Private Dining Room after we have requested you and your guests move towards the bar.
This is the time that we usually dedicate to cake cutting and/or a thank-you speech.
When you are done, we re-open the doors and invite you and your guests into the refreshed space for your first dance and the rest of the night’s revelry!
